Show Me Your Aquascaping

Hello,

Andre, your tank looks very clean. I used to favor the 'stocked with rock' aquascape, but im beginning to prefer the more open rockwork- such as yours. Your placement of the individual rocks on the right side adds depth visually. Is your rock fixed together? or stacked?

The rock is stacked creating caves for circulation and fish.

Awesome aquascaping. Very clean look. How big is the tank, and how much LR did you use in the aquascaping. Also, are the chromis getting along or are they fighting.

The tank is 100*60*50 ( lenght*wide*high), 300L; 80G
I have put around 20Kgs of live rock. It is all live rock.Chromis do fight and I have lost two already in two months.

You can find out more info on my tank, here.

Regards,
André

Just the 2 main structures are staying in the tank, just got done a couple days ago and put all the lr from my 33 to seed these. The left side one use to look cooler but it fell apart.

Great aquascaping. Good luck with the tank.

berleinchmit, I worked as architect for sometime and I think that your aquascaping is awesome! Clean, peaceful and elegant look. Even fish is the right color.

That's what tanks should look like. They should complement your room and character. I hope you'll save $$$$ and avoid pointlessly stashing it with hundreds of coral fragments

500 gal tank in the thread needs a major cleanup!

here is my 10 gal tank

Letik, thank for your words. I agree 100% with you and it´s my objective to maintain the tank with its clean look in the long run, even with coral growth. That´s why corals have been carefully picked through out the almost 5 months of tank´s life. I only need to find more 4-5 pieces that I want to glue to the rock and I´m done.

I leave you with and update picture taken in the first days of April. Sand and glass needed to be clean that day.

I also like your 10g. Very small and yet, very striking and peaceful at the same time. A closer picture would bring the details of that hardscape.

André

Wow! I'm jealous of everyone's great aquascaping! I'm just getting my 100 gallon up and running. I wanted to take advantage of the width of the tank and spread everything out. There are plenty of tunnels and caves within the rock and I'm planning on only keeping a few small fish.

Great aquascaping. Can't wait to see how you aquascape the 200g. A lot more options.

Nice aquascaping!

Heres my tank at 1 month and 6 months. I see I'm lacking on my cleaning.

That is great coralline growth for six months. Nice aquascaping, and keep up the good work.
