corro, I currently have a Mag12 on my return for my 60 gallon. I had it T'd going to two locations, but since the flow was so weak i had to shut one side down. Now its going to my seaswirl, and thats doing so so... So i just picked up the oceansmotions squirt to enhance the flow rate in the tank. Having a cube makes it difficult to get the flow to all the locations of the tank! I dont know enough on closed loop systems, i've read tons of posts but still not sure how i should set mine up. any suggestions would help! thanks in advance! hows your tank going?

salty: I'll post an update pic or two tonight. As far as flow goes - I've been using Loc-Line to direct the flow where i want it and it has worked out pretty well. :D

help!

help!

Awsome pics everyone!!! Gotta love the cube

I'm going to try and post some pics of my 45 this weekend, 24*18*24. I'm looking at upgrading to a 30*30*25.

I currently have 2 x 250 SE MH's side by side. My concern is the extra foot wide the new tank will be. I want a mixture of hard and soft corals, so MH's are a must.

What is everyone running on their tanks and what do you recommend?

Also, I'm looking at some costs for buying this equipment new.
I want to keep the cost below $500 for my total lighting.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

More PICS

I love the stand pictues and the sump pics. I'm interested in seeing what people have managed to squeeze under neath a tank with such a small footprint.

just got my new tank up and running after my old SPS cube bit the bullet. Nothing much, but I'm pretty crazy about the clown pair I found (the other one is hiding in this pic)

oh, and sorry about the poor picture, I'll be sure to add a better one once I have the time (and have something in the tank to take a picture of :D )

This is awesome willtel76, did you build the stand/canopy yourself?

I actually bought the stand from Pier 1 just after I got the tank. It just happened to be a perfect fit. I built the canopy to match.

Are your clowns Black Ocelaris? Nice tank.

I have no clue :D

I was going to get a pair of GSM, but I saw these and decided that that is was too good of a deal to pass up for $40, he he......

going to get a stand tomorrow (the place was out of them when I got the tanK) and a RBta tomorrow, and then do some research on whether or not it will be worth to raise the fry - tje pic doesn't do them justice, they look great in the actinic lighting :D

well, they were being much more photogenic last night, so I got a few more pics. whatever breed they are, I'm definately glad I got them, they're great to watch.

Great shots and some sweet clowns!

I think, pretty sure actually that they are Amphiprion polymnus - Saddleback Clownfish.
The black variant

Great fish for a cube. You should post some pics in the anemone/clown forum

gath, mine is a 30"x30"x24". I am running a 400watt SE 12,500k Helios, a 250watt DE 20,000k Aqualine AB, and 2x 65watt PC actinic.
