i just started mine up friday finally! was building for over a month.....

1/2" Cell cast acrylic 30X30X16 shallow.... need to switch out 2 bulbs its too purple for my taste lol.

Thanks XTM its skimmerless right now so its still really murky i have no other filtration besides the rock and sand. So little by little its been settling. Hopefully the cycle kicks in soon and all the bacteria can weigh down what ever else is floating and the skimmer take care of the rest .

Got a Bubble Magus BM150 great reviews on here and from the looks of pics and videos it is a great skimmer for the money.

Will post more pics once i finish building my sump.

I changed my cube around over the weekend. I removed the LTA, and placed an "extra" Haddoni that I had in there --- in hopes of getting the black back in my SI Perc pair. For the open space I am thinking of getting a clam and some open brains.

The white balance is a bit off, but here is the newest picture. (( and luck would have it, the Percs were hosted by the Haddoni within seconds of me putting it in this tank ))

Hey guys, Im about to upgrade my 34g solana 20" cube and have 2 sizes in mind.

Which one should I go for.

36x30x18 (shallow, more lighting options to fit on tanks width)

or

30x30x20 (more of a cube like look, have to stck with a 24" lighting set up but can be lit better with a single metal halide set up)
