where did you get your cube at? is that an external or internal overflow?

Still needs some corals, but here's my 60 gal.

not trying to jump in on your post but i'm looking for the exact same cube sizes but in acrylic.. does anyone out there regret getting acrylic instead of glass? I just like how acrylic has no silicone at all.

Hey guys & gals everything looks awesome on here. My question is i'm looking at getting a 24x24x20high three sided starfire with an external overflow and 1return locline nozzle coming in from the back corner. Thinking of using black silicone. Anyone have any suggestions that they would like to change in there cube so i don't do the same thing maybe.

I just ordered a 24X24X20 high rimless cube and we will be building our own stand. Could some of you with 20" tall cubes tell me how high your stands are, or what you'd recommend? We thought we might want it a bit higher than usual, but then I was worried the light would blind me when I'm sitting down looking at it, which I will do quite a bit. The light will probably end up hung from the ceiling although it does have legs to stand on the rim.

Heres a pic of my cube. Everything is finished except for my overflow box. Aquarium is 24 x 24 x 12. Stand is 32" tall. Hope to have water in it by the end of the week.

did you order glass or acrylic? where are you getting it from?

I took the easy way out and ordered the new 50 gallon "Artisan" cube from CAD that will be shipping out next week. I did a lot of research and it really seems to be a pretty good deal for a starphire rimless tank. I'm getting their sump package and light too, hope that won't be a mistake. Guess I can always change stuff around later if I need to...

I think that is a good deal on the whole set up? Did you get the "Full System"?
I'm curious about the Bubble Magus skimmer that comes with it.

I got everything except the stand. My husband does a lot of woodworking as a hobby so he's going to build something that goes in the room a little better than the one CAD offers. I'm kind of nervous about how it will all look and work since the system is brand new and you can't get opinions on it. I have a feeling it will be just fine for me as I am a pretty basic entry level hobbyist still!
