Show me Your Fancy STANDS!!!

Oak plywood elos style stand.

"White washed" sides and rear.
gloss black top and door (i'll be running it bare bottom)

It's the first stand I ever made, and I'm happy with most of it.

Blide,
It took me a minute to understand what I was looking at, but now that I get it, that's an awesome way to keep it clean on the backside.

Here's mine, inspired by the stand earlier with the sliding doors

The white that shows through with the flash isn't visible in person.

It holds an Oceanic 30g cube. The frame is made of 1x4s and some 1x1 centers to bind the 1x4s. The skin is 3/4" oak ply stained with one coat of Ebony minwax, followed by 3 coats of their Red Mahogany and finished with satin poly.

Nice and compact. I don't think I've seen sliding doors on a stand before. Neat idea.

Maroun,
That's intriguing, Please give more details. Looks a lot like a huge fire place insert. Is it going to be viewed from 2 sides?

This is still at the workshop so they installed it in the middle of a room. Its supposed to be only visible from the front and a bit from the side via a small protruding parts.
something along this:

More details on it on my Build thread.

There is one earlier in this split or the other that has a steel frame and the same sliders on the front. I wish I could say it was my idea, but it's a damned good one. I'm definitely a fan of them and will be rebuilding the stand beside this one to match.

This thread has languished long enough. I see your stands and raise you an in-wall:
