Gasman - Is the browning normal on these? I am currently battling a nitrate issue and the top of mine has started to brown a bit. What caused yours to do that, or do they naturally brown sometimes or is it just a nutrient issue?

The GBPA is a hardy yet sensative coral. What i mean by that is it adapts to different tank conditions well but it tends to lose it's color if it's stressed. Mine has been through hell in my tank. It has survived when other's have not.
Placement is like any other Acro. Mine is in medium flow and is 8-10" under a 400w XM 20K MH with a lumenmax II pendant. It's color is a deep green with bright blue polyps. The more light you give it the brighter the polyps and the lighter the green. The lower the light the darker the green and the polyps are more purple.
P04 will turn this sucker brown quickley. It's very sensative to lighting changes also. It should be acclimated to any lighting change made (even replacing existing bulb with the same).
