I believe it. It has the look of GBP. Mine hints at making those same stretches, but hasn't quite gotten that out there. Lol.

Mr. Austin, I will add to this thread this month! Good to see your frag combo coming into one colony!!

I'm pretty sure it is a GBP, got it from a good source. I think the growth is a function of the tank/ lower flow area that it was in.

I highly doubt it, I've had a few colonies through the years in various conditions abd have seen multiple other colonies and frags, not one of them resembled yours.

Is this guy a GBP? Kind of reminds me of one, but I purchased it as a no name acro at a frag swap.

I've had it over a year, and it hasn't done much growth wise,. Color is good, but it has been a painfully slow grower. Let me know what you guys think.

My new GBP I just picked up... little bleached.. but should color up nicely :)

Beautiful! Mine has grown straight up. Funny the different growth forms on this one. My colony doesn't look different from a few pages back. Minimal fragging - it seems to have slowed down in new growth. Many huge under branches have died due to loss of light and its tough to frag them, because they are part of thick stalk. :( It's also been fighting a war with a tricolor for a while and my Bub Magus doser had a line issue so it has paled a bit due to alk flux. I'll still try to snag a pic before GBP month ends. LOL Love it.

Here is mine. It came from aquavista99 years ago and is one of only 4 corals that survived my tank crash several years back. It was just a small bit of encrustation on a rock and has grown out to this. The only thing with mine is I am lacking something in my system that causes the coral to not have its blue polyps. Still a very pretty coral.

How strong of lighting are any of you all using with your german blue? I get great green color but lack the blue polyps. would love to figure out why.
thanks
jeff

Growing another frag out since I've returned from Saudi Arabia.

I'll post a pic up soon, but for now post up your GBPA!

Here are my xxxl frags of my german blue. They have been growing out for well over a year. Very nice green coloration and good p/e but I dont get the blue polyps. I need to play around with the lighting to see if I can make a difference.
