OK

JeremyBlaze. Has anything ever tumbled in your tank? I think I have a idea how I want to do my tank, but waiting on some l/r to finish curing before I redo my tank. Hey, post a pic of your tank

The right hand side is just acrylic 10mm rod with milliput left to cure for 4months in remote water volume.

The left hand side is drilled at center balance point of each peice of rock with 22mm drill bit and then 22m white plactic overflow pipe work the just counter balancing.

I'll try the up loader later when i get home from work.

Thanks

Matt

blakoe - do you have any pictures of the bases of your pilars? How do you have things anchored so they don't tip over?

thanks!
jp

they anchored the structures to a sheet of acrylic that has been drilled to fit an acrylic rod. The rock is then drilled so that the rod can fit in and secure it to the sheet.

doesnt have to be too big, just enough to stop it from tipping.
I made mine alittle large because i had to buy 2' of acrylic.

very cool, thank you - the rod has to be solid in the acrylic sheet for it to be stable, how did you work that? I am guessing that I could tap and die the rod?
Are your tanks bb or do you bury the base in the sand?

thank you again, I am going to do this with about 25lbs of LR to try and hide my megaflow and would hate for this to come crashing through the glass some night.
