Well unless you replicate the exact light he has your building yourself up for dispointment. It's am amazing Sps and yes I have never seen anything like it. I am sure it's amazing piece and from the looks of it, the picture is with red and actinic lighting.

You are 100% right on this one
all my SPS I get them from the mothers colonies all the time sometimes when I go to vivid I ask them to cut me a frag from the display tank were they have MH and the color that I see it's what I get, just to make sure I get what I want and I can provide the same lights for them,
Sometimes they have some frags a little bit less colorful on the side claiming that it's the same coral from the display if I get those they not always color up as the same on the display so if I don't see from where the frags it's cut usually I don't get it, just to prevent disapoiments :)

Biggar, I saw you pulled those pics from another thread. Are you the one that bought the frag of this? If so, woohoo!

Just realized that was your piece, didn't recognize the name on the other forum:)

I'm wondering if I got a frag of this from you last year, it looks very similar. I was calling mine the poor mans orange passion, but I guess not any more:celeb3:

no doubt it is the real deal! I too was amazed by the colors of this coral and purchase one directly from the grower in Florida. Here is pic under 400W 20K and Hydra 52 supplements.
Best looking acro I have seen in the hobby and that spans back to mid 80's.

Nice, just found out I have a piece of this I got from seller a while back. Woohoo! Mine is like a minicolony. Love me some Mickey Mouse:D

Can either of you post a picture of this coral under semi normal light. I would love to see it.

Sorry bud but that is the only normal lighting I have on my setup:uzi:
Most would consider 400W halides to be normal light. I dont run the tank without the supplements so why try and get a shot of the coral with only white llighting if no one actually runs those setups anymore and I will not view the coral in those scenarios. The walt disney tenius certainly is a very unique coral that is really enjoyed early in morning and evening when only under blue type lighting. When under Halides it looks like the pic I posted but still very impressive coral..

Well the main reason is that there are plenty of people that don't run heavy blue, throw a bunch of fake colors on the coral, give it some dumb azz name, and sell nubs for $250.

Multicolored tenuis with bicolor polyp extension(yellow out coralites, green out tips) Aged over 2 years in captivity. Pic under RB Led

I think this thing is probably really cool looking, but the first pic I find really interesting. I've never seen a shadow that was cast as multiple colors. Notice the shadow on this thing is two colors. The normal shadow color and then a touch of red/pink. It's been enhanced. I don't see any way that it hasn't.

It's very cool looking. Under blue LEDs, that's what it looks like. Mine is a little lackluster and ordinary looking right now due to some recent tank issues (most of my SPS are). It lost a lot of that body glow so I won't post a pic....Yet;)

Ok we saw this acro it's nice and nicer under some different types of lights, lets move on to a different acros please I order a frag I'm on the waiting list I thing he said there is 36 people ahead of me but I hope I will get it one day and I will post a picture under LEDs and MH I have both.

Then will see:)
Next acro please

Right. Let's not discuss the over saturated hyped photo that has made 40+ people ask to be on a wait list. ;)

It's just a tenius that developed it's color under highly saturated blues and reds. I had one just like that a couple years ago that developed similar colors in my frag system with t5/led's, then faded back to normal when moved to my display system with 14k halides.
