What lighting and how long have you had it?

thanks... i've had it right at 2 months. when i got it, it was looking more overall purple. it seems like the individual colors are starting to differentiate recently. all my dt's are under reefbreeder led's.

minh, your petco gig is awesome! i like it....

I thought I would keep this thread alive. Its the same Gig in both pictures. It was bleached with a tint of yellow on the tips of the tentacle's about 4 months ago. I never put it through treatment and it has colored up to what you see now. I purchased this from a fellow reefer who's tank was too small. The smaller Gig you see on top in one of the pictures was a Petco Gig that also didn't go through treatment. Prior to this I have gone through multiple Gig's with no success even with treatment. All lasted about 2 weeks and died. I have a lot of hope for these two.

Beautiful stuff guys. Nice Nem Orion.

MY 24"+ Gigantea. These are some older pics, but she's still going. I've had it for about 7 years now I think. That 10 year old female maroon is a good 6" long.

Not to be the tang police, but it appears you have a paired 6" female maroon and a yellow tang which looks almost as large in a 50gallon aquarium? How is that working out for you?

Thought I would jump start this thread by posting a pic of my new Gig nothing special but a nice size and healthy, wish i was in the US able to get them so cheap especially coloured ones. This photo was taken about 30 mins after being put into the tank.
