it is general fact to show big fishes...and sometimes lots of criticism and what not comes with it...
today i went to my lfs and seen a 1/2 inch koran angel..from there the idea of this thread came to my mind...like to hear the experience of people who raised their tangs, angels or butterflies from a inch or less size and if possible earliest pictures....:fun2:

well i would not consider mine "raised" but i bought a yellow tang and a hippo tang both smaller than a quarter the hippo is now about 3-3.5 inches and the yellow is now about 3-3.25 inches both with the wonderfull football look...bought both of them aprox 9 months ago

What LFS is opened up before 10 am?

Haha seriously! ..... Luckey!

Heres my baby tang that i've had for a little over 5 months now.:spin3:

Wow turbo... that tang has really grown quick.

I got my mimic about the same time you got your tang, and it has only grown from 1" to now being 2"
This is around when I first got it

cool keep the pics coming guys! try to do updated pics, if you can, with the time it's been since they were tiny. :)

Both tangs in this video were about the size of a quarter when I added them to my tank. The rabbitfish was about the size of a half-dollar.

Less than 3 for the Desjardini. I have had the hepatus too long for me to remember his stages of growth, but he probably grew the fastest during the first 5 years or so. He is 10 or so now.
