Shy Clown?

My female onyx clown FINALLY noticed my GBTA she gets real close to it but hasnt touched it or gone into it yet is this normal. Do they ease into it or do they dive right in? It seems like she wants to but just cant bring herself to jump in. BTW my male is not even looking at the nem yet. Thanks in advance Bill

Some clowns won't notice a anemone for years before they start hosting, but from what i've read, usually it takes a few months. So i'd say just give it time. Usually thats the answer to these types of situations. My fathers clowns dove right into his anemone, and my clown hosted an anemone while still at the fish store.... Mostly because he was in a 5gal tank with 6 anemones and himself, so he didn't have much of a choice. But i'd just give it times, clowns are weird.. I forgot to add that my clowns have been looking at my hammer coral for a while now, pretty much doing the same thing yours is. They hover right over it, and almost swim in it but will stop. I'm just waiting till the day they find out they can host it.
