Simple mod...

I had the day off today, so I figured....let's mess with the Nano for a while. I decided to finally do the fan mod....so I flipped the fan that was in the hood, and added a second one (also blowing INTO the tank). That was good for about a 3 degree temp drop! Than I decided that while I had the hood apart, I might as well replace the 9 month old stock Sunpaqs. The originals were one 27w dual daylight and one 27w dual actinic. I decided to brighten things up a bit, and replaced them with two Sunpaq SmartPaq 32w (Model 2022).....what a difference! It looks like a completely different tank. Anyway....just thought I would share a simple mod if anyone is in the mood to try it.

changed my bulbs to the 32 on my 12 AP 2 days ago. Bright idea!
Just bought a 24 AP with 150 HQI

We have some things in common. I live in NJ (wall township), my first car was a mustang, love saltwater fish, fly airplanes ( RC airplanes & helies in allaire st park)

DirkG: Wasn't that bulb change amazing...I was just worried that the stock ballast wouldn't fire it.....score one for Current USA. For me airplanes are a paycheck...I fly the B767 to Europe and Honolulu. The Mustang is what I do for fun!
