Maybe you spooked him? I bet a few moments earlier he was just floating in one spot.

Or... how bright are these moonlights? The R2's are very bright unless they are on the R2 controller.

I'd put the moonlights on a timer, and have them shut off after an hour or two.

clowns are always moving to keep water going through their gills..so they'll swim while sleeping...just take notice where they end up at night and after a few days, you'll notice they're in the same place and that's where they sleep..

also +1 on the R2 controller...works like a champ!

Mature clowns that are comfortable with their environment can straight up, go to sleep. I mean completely out. Dead to the world. Some hobbyists use this time to capture clowns they need to remove from a reef. My female perc will tuck herself into the folds of her anemone, lay on her side, and the only movement is from the flow causing her anemone to sway back and forth. It almost looks like she's dead. I have other clowns that don't act like this though???????

yeah i think R-2 is a bit bright.. i left it on all night..

Clown, at night stay on top corner (front tank)

Where can i find controler for R-2 ??

Thanks!

Or just use a cheap timer and shut them off completely after an hour or two:

oh....I just assumed i m supposed to leave little light like moonlight on all night...

Please correct me, its fine to turn all lights off at nights and corals and fish will be fine ??

Thanks!
