Wondering what the stock light on my Aqueon 36 gal bowfront set up would be able to handle as far as corals. I'm unsure of the wattage.

I know it wouldn't be a broad range of them, if any. Just curious if I can have anything besides rock, inverts, and fish in my tank before I upgrade my lighting (planning Maxspect Razor R420, 27 in 160W, can't decide if 10k or 16k. input welcome on that!). Would be looking at something simple like a green hairy mushroom.

Darn it. I just realized I accidentally posted this in the wrong section again :(

Can someone move this to lighting or the appropriate coral section?

How much you willing to spend? = P That's the real question here haha.. You want to go leds or t5ho?? MH maybe? Let us know .. Whats the depth on that tank btw?

I'm wanting to go with LED. I like the sleek profile of most LED fixtures and I can't do with a bunch of cooling equipment so T5HO and MH are pretty much out the door. Depth on the tank is about 22inches.

Thinking that I want this in 27inch 160W format. Can't decide whether or not to go 16k or 10k, though. I'm thinking that should be enough light for about anything (I want mixed corals and one clam). Correct me if I'm wrong! If I am, I'd like to stay around that $500 price point.
