I'm sure there must be a good tutorial somewhere. I've already got a few yrs experience with 3d modeling software, so it wasn't much of a leap for me. Just start out drawing simple things and progress as you get comfortable. Fortunatley fish tanks are pretty simple shapes... :D

I sometimes have trouble, cutting out shapes, and getting shapes to form along the right axis. Like sometimes circles and such won't draw straight. But it came really easy for me

ohh i'm sorry. i would recomend tutuorials and such, its really fun once you get the hang of it and a useful desigining tool.

I downloaded it after reading this thread. It's really fun to play with. Here's what I did in about an hour or less. I wasn't keeping track.

The tutorials I did were building a house and deck. I followed right along. However, I need to know how to make exact dimensions, etc. I did figure out the textures and glass effects. Where'd you find the plumbing and valves? Is that on the free version?

I drew my plumbing, i got a valve off of the warehouse. The "follow me" tool is extremely important in plumbing. thats how you do the curves, and such. You just have to think it out.

Well exact dimensions are by inches... just crete a line and point to the direction you want then type how many inches.... example... 12" or by foot 1' then enter

Also you have to notice the green red and blue lines... that means it will make sure that your lines are squared.....

move the mouse after a line command and you will notice that it changes its colors to these....

good luck...

you need to seperate the plumbing as individual pieces and place them in the warehouse.

that follow me tool is tough. i can never get it to do what i want. then it does what i wanted when im trying to do something else.
