skimmer performance??? thoughts please

oki so i had some problems with my ph do to cabon dioxide( i think) so i run a tubing from outside to my skimmer intake it helped cause my ph is stable at 8.2(salifert). Before without tubing was at 7.8 so my quastion is: if the skimmer will perform weaker on cold air (we have colder days comin to chicago) or its dosent matter???

Not sure how air temperature will affect things but you could consider a product like this from BRS"¦ Color Changing Medical Grade CO2 Absorbent - Low Dust and their universal air filter...

I have a similar product (its been discontinued) that definitely did have a positive effect on the PH"¦

I have the same problem with CO2. I have a phosban reactor and want to add the CDX media to fix this problem. Can I use the BRS Color Changing Medical Grade CO2 Absorbent instead?
