Mojo-
Your thoughts please on a DAS E-X 3
Whats max size tank realistically?
I will try to look you up @ MACNA:wavehand:
thanks,
Vinny
just wondering if the skimz 121 had got that pinwheel update. ive narrowed it down to this one and the sro 1000sss. any preferences.
elos system 70 w 15 g sump. medium to heavy bio w mixed reef.
They are both good, I know I will be picking up my new pinwheel at Macna. I am not sure if they have been shipping with the new wheel yet or not. Ill be curious to see what has changed. If you need it right now I would go with the sro, but I do think the 121 does pull more. I think it is pretty powerful little skimmer.

I had a sc 150 and they work well. But my 121 pulls so much more than the sc 150 did.
out of those three the sc65 would be fine. You might want to think about the nac 6 or vertex in 100 as some other options. The nac 3.5, the swc 120 and the sc 65 all use the same pump. I would try to find something that pulls alittle more water but all in all I would get the sc 65 out of those.
What is the maxium water level height in sump internal SRO? I have read only 6.5 max, is thatright.
Any suggestions as to a skimmer for a heavly stocked 200gallon FOWLR tank? My max in budget is only a messely $250.
I was looking at the Pacific Coast ps-2000 and ps-3000. Your thoughts on those?
do you think the SC 65 is better than a comparable Reef Octopus NWB-110
I would probably go with the nw 110. it will cycle more water and it will be easier to get warranty work done if need be.
Mojo~ I currently run a Vertex in-100 on my 90 + 20 gallon sump medium bioload mixed reef setup, but I'm looking to increase performance, and am considering the following:
-Keep the in-100 and buy atb mini airstar pump (Sicce psk 1000) or Tunze silence pump
-SRO 2000int
-Octo XS-200
What do you think is the better choice here? Thanks!
