Skimmer question help please.

I would like to say hi, im a new member to this site. I also have a question. I have had my sw tank set up for about 6 months. Its a 29 gallon with about 25 pnds of liverock. Now i have a very big bioload which i dont want to go into. i recently purchased the Reef Ocotopuss bh100 a few weeks ago. It took about a week to get going. now it is taking out almost a half of cup of nasty pond looking water out about every 2.5 to 3 days. is that exactly what i want it to do?

Please remove the tang and dwarf angel from the tank. A 29 gallon tank is not appropriate for a hepatus tang nor a bicolor angel. No amount of skimming can compensate for the overstocking issues.
