skimmers reaction

I added some Chemiclean to help clean up some cyano yesterday and today I am seeing this foaming which they told my would happen and to adjust the skimmer to regulate that.
The foam is overflowing now and is clear and wet. Should I cut back on the water or air to stop this foaming and overflowing.

I would turn it back a bit to prevent it from over flowing and having to empty the cup every few hours.

I have mine set to have the foam level start building at the base of the cup.
