Slakker's Oceanic 58g

I decided to try to Nori again, just to see what would happen, and it turns out he DOES like it...he just wanted something else first.

I am about to set up the same tank so tagging along. Did you leave enough room in your sump in case the power goes out and wont flood the floor?

Sure did. I only get about an inch of water draining down into the sump.

Now, if my standpipe got pulled out it would be another story...probably should have planned for that...

I would love to, Catherine...but nothing exciting has happened! No recent impulse purchases, tank is still cycling (I think...probably should get those test kits...) and all my other stuff is still in the 12g at my parent's home!

Seriously, absolutely nothing has changed from the last one I put up...I promise!

I take it back...I think the mag-float is new

This is the photo where I see a small overhang on the top of the right column:

Last I tested (with better kits) ammonia was still just barely detectable...still no changes :D

I'll humor you guys and put up some new pics tonight anyways.

:(

I came home today to find the Cherub stuck to the intake of my filter, dead.

He seemed perfectly healthy yesterday, had been eating just fine and everything, no spots, breathing normally, swimming around actively...

Sad day.

Cripes, that's the worst. I had something similar happen with one of my very small clowns. Sorry to hear.
