Actually you get screwed more if you start an initial interaction/question that way. Save it for when you don't get your way, THEN let it fly! You'll find you rarely need to go that direction but when you do they know you're ticked off. You catch more flies with honey than you do vinegar.

it would make sense that i want to find out what is goin on in the first week of my membership. wouldn't it?

I think after summer hits he wont be so uptight, and after everyone has more time to arrange stuff in the club, more activities and such will be available.

And i take both sides in the issue- if he stirs it he should have to take it as well.

I'm not taking sides AT ALL but here is my simple observation.

I don't think this thread was started in a malicious way but has gone too far from what we should be exerting our energy on.

I'm not in the loop on a lot of this stuff but here is my assumption.

Trottie- Over the next 51 weeks, there will be plenty of events that you can go to. I'm sure you will get your moneys worth from events, knowledge, friendships, and discounts... This just got started...it won't happen overnight.

Chelsey- I also agree with you...No need for detail

For everyone- I just personally don't like reading threads in which people start bickering back and forth. This can't be healthy. Especially when I don't believe anyone had ill intentions.

Final note- This has been a great club minus a bit of drama. We have great sponsors, a large knowledgeable group, a great website, and a lot of people who have spent their own time working to make this happen. I certainly appreciate all your hard work and effort and for all that have helped me to even get me here! I personally enjoy it. I'm not website savvy so I can't help with that but if my assistance is needed with anything, please let me know.

This will come together, it will just take a bit of time. I'm excited though!

Trottie, If you have a question feel free to PM me anytime. You will get your $20 worth some way some how or we wouldn't expect you to rejoin next year. Small get togethers in the beginning and throughout the year. Help give people a chance to get to know everyone. This is how clubs become more successful. We have a goal and it is explained on the website. Every time we get together will be a social hour it is what is expected of a club. We are in the process of planning events and hey you make it easy on us to set a goal by end of summer. But, we would like to do better than that. We can take the heat so what ever you want to say, say it. It is your reputation on the line not mine. My job is to be completely honest with you about the club. If I can not come up with an answer immediately I will let you know. Sometimes the board needs to come up with that answer. Other times we will poll the membership or suggest a vote by membership. Either way we can communicate an answer. If this is the way you want to do it. So, be it I am fine just remember your reputation on the line. Trottie you are a member now so you have a voice I guess we need to listen to from now on. If you are looking for fun events I suggest paint ball. I wouldnââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t mind paying good hard earned money to fire a box of paint balls at you.

You donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t have to make things that difficult. One thing that bothers me so much is people who are so quick to judge are the last to volunteer. Well Trottmaster jump in the navigator seat and tell us where were going because we ask. Make a suggestion for a weekend get together in the immediate future. I will try my best to be there. I will even see if Slash will cover the bill and pick up a gallon of fruit punch. We have to be careful with what we do with the money we gather from dues. It is not an endless supply. You want to know what is going on just ask but be constructive. :thumbsup:

my 2 cents:
conflict is good. it encourages dialog and gets stuff done. the problem becomes when people get offended by the conflict. at work we have a good saying: confront with good intent.

also i thought chelsey looked older then 19. i would of served her a beer.
