I like your copperband. I hope you don't mind me asking some questions:
1. How is it doing?
2. How well and what is it eating?
3. Where did you get it?
Thanx,
Van.

A 1: Its doing great! shy for the first two days and now it is always out and about even when there is 4 faces against the front glass. It is on the biggest fish I have so no one gave him any issues except my cleaner wrasse who wanted to go straight to work.
A 2: It eats very very well. It joins the heard near the top left when the pumps for to feed mode and chows down. I can 100% say he eats frozen Brine, mysis, and reef chili. I have yet to witness him eat pellets. He also grazes all day looking for worms ect.
A 3: I got him from Reef Monsters. He said, I don't remember the owners name, he had been there for a few weeks. Watched him eat frozen for about 2 minutes with other fish in the same tank. So I took him because I normally can't ever see my fish before I get them except for DD before I buy them due to my living location.
Hope this answered your questions. Let me know if you have anymore

That make lyretail is quite nice.
What are you doing for qt on your fish?
Tank is looking good!
Thanx. It does. I have been looking for a good and eating copperband butterfly. I am worried about how fragile they are though.
I have first hand experience with quality marine and their "quarantine". I lost an entire shipment to uronema, sanitized and placed the same order (some refunded credit) and lost the entire order again to another bout of uronema with the exception of a blenny. The second time they only sent partial shipment as their female lyretail were not up to standards (I can only assume unronema in their system.
Total of 2 male, 6 female lyretail, yellow clown goby, and a starry blenny were lost between the two orders. And this is with a full fledged QT which I dipped and medicated.
Uronema in the display in borderline "hobby ending" imo. You basically have to bleach the whole tank, kill everything (it is gram negative bacteria) and start over with a cycle... Devastating!
I had a buddy who lost his entire order with them as well. Both of these incidents were only in the past few months. I can see their side, it is something incredibly difficult to treat. Especially in their position.
Most places dont QT the way they should. Especially not the way YOU should. It is protecting your investment. Go read about uronema. It may change your mind.
If you can't QT, pay a buddy who does QT a few six packs and have him do it for you. Just a bit of friendly advice. Swing by with a shipment of ship and I will gladly QT for you.
spscrackhead - you just scared the &%$# of out me.
Corals look really nice, but from the sand, it still seems like a disco effect with many different "spot" lighting.
