Smoothdog's 150DD build

Took a few shots of the tanks over the weekend. Everything is doing really well while holding for the new tank!

Everything is looking great! :eek1:

I bet you can't wait to see how the stuff looks in the new tank.

Excellent photos as well.

Thanks Mike! Yeah, bought a new table saw this weekend and I'm hoping to get plans finalized and final lumber measurements so I can get going on the stand soon.

Do you have a plan you are using for the stand?

Well, this is what I've come up with in SketchUp. Wether I can pull it off or not remains to be seen. :D

Beautiful acros. You must have a very low bioload.

Thanks Nook! Well, I don't know about that. I feed flake and pellets to all three tanks twice a day and put nori in the tank with the tang and rabbit fish a couple times a week, with occasional frozen feedings. Here's the stock list:

Purple tang
Two barred rabbitfish
large melanarus wrasse
yellow coris wrasse
yellow watchman goby
onyx clown
lubbucks wrasse
blue margin wrasse ? juvi.
royal gramma
exquisite wrasse
couple of serpent stars
2 tiger tail cukes (one that split)
assorted snails
and a few hermits

I really think the bio-pellets are doing a great job of keeping the nitrates down. My phosphates were up as high as 1.6 at one point but after a couple of GFO changes they were down to .06 a couple of days ago.

I was reading that the TLF 150 is better suited for running biopellets than the 550. Im thinking Im needing to try some pellets myself. I did another water change today and my nitrates are still high. Gonna test again tomorrow and see what I come up with. If theyre still high I'll do another water change but dont want to do too many too fast.
