It's pretty much all I every use. It's cheap and has good params. FYI the box is usually cheaper and you get more if you can find it on sale.

I've used the seachem salt when it was on sale and liked that too, but will not buy instant ocean.

IM never buying Instant ocean again either. I have been using coralife since i have started and its perfect. IO barely even dissolves for me.

What is so bad with Instant Ocean? I think that is what I have...

Like Makeshift said, slow/incomplete dissolving and lower levels. Clouded my tank after a WC once too.

Some folks may not have any issues but those were my experiences.

Ok. Wanted to make sure it wasn't a composition problem. I have had no issues with it so far.

Been a while since I updated. I'm still battling some algae issues but feel like I'm finally getting the upper hand. In the mean time I've been trying to keep myself appeased with other things. Picked up a male ruby red at the swap and found him a girlfriend at CnM the other day!

It looked great for about 3 weeks then the mantle started receeding. I pulled it to check on it and it had rotted out from the foot. I'm guessing there was some damage to the foot I didn't see when I got it.
