Smooth's 29 gallon build!

Sweet. That's what I was planning on doing, that or the epoxy

I forgot to attach the pic. Get the glue in gel form. Liquid is hard to work with.

Nice tank Smooth!

I am new and learning and really enjoyed reading your updates. You made it easier for me to understand easier setting up the tank from start to finish. Also was able to visually see how the ammonia/nitrite/nitrate went through different stages.

Do you think you can take an updated pic on your Sump? I've been curious as to why people have 3 acrylic narrow dividers in the middle of the sump like yours. What does it do?

Keep us updated.

FNC, I will get you an updated sump pic tomorrow when I will perform a water change. The 3 glass baffles is to break the bubbles prior to having the bubbles pumped back into the diaplay. It definitely works. Thanks!!

How are you liking the flow from the WP-10 so far? I have a 20H that I'm considering purchasing the WP-10 for and curious if you think the flow is too much/too low/just right.

I did not like it. I had to buy a 2nd wp10 to get a good amount of flow. 1 is not enough imo. But 2 is perfect. The new RW pumps by jebao have wider flow. Maybe one of those would have been sufficient.

Looking forward to the pics. Just picked up my first 29gal from Petco today. Getting the pieces little by little.

Hi smooth. I like your overflow and maybe would like to do the same thing for my next tank. Can you tell me whih size diameter of pipe you have and how strong the return pump is? How is the sound level? Can you hear the water flowing to the sump? If you could post a close picture from the skimbox and the return pipe, that would be awesome! Thanks marco

Sorry for the late reply. Here are some pics. Water flows from right to left.

When the nassarius snails don't steal from your hammer coral, does it have a pretty good feeding response to raw foods? I've been experimenting with different foods for my LPS with hit and miss results.
