Snail ID- Friend or Foe

I posted this thread in the Reef Discussion, but was told this section would be a better bet.

I can't get a better pic of this guy because he is no longer with us.

It was a 1/4" long max, white with black lightning bolts on the shell. One end of the shell comes to a point... you can see that in the pic. Sorry its blurry but I used an Iphone with a magnifying glass.

It's a columbellid, one of the species known as "Strombus Grazers" in the hobby. It shouldn't be a problem, and may even be beneficial. The lightning bolt form is currently being lumped with a bunch of other forms/species under the name Pardalina testudinaria:

What's the chances I have another. I shouldn't have been so hasty to chuck it... now I feel a bit bad. You live and learn I guess.

You might have gotten that one as a tiny hitchhiker on your live rock. Could be another one will show up, but they should all be about the same size if that's the case. They can hide pretty well.
