Not sure yet. I have a 3 gallon pico that I could use this time around with such a small batch, and I have some rotifiers available. I'm not too terribly optimistic, though. It would be nice!!
Now that they have spawned a few times I would try to place a tile in that same area after these eggs run their corse. You will have a better chance raising them if you move the eggs on the night of the hatch.
So, here's the last egg standing. Not sure why, maybe something's eating them at night or the clowns know that they aren't suitable stock? I may try pulling them at day 1 next time, and putting them in the rearing tank. So...meet Nemo.
That's what I was thinking too... Usually heads up... Maybe they are aliens from another ocean far far away. I would not move them on day 1 unless you are planning to add some kind of air stone so they get fresh oxygen jus like the daddy would do it... Good luck with your next batch...
Ok try my advice first and then move on.
Feed the medicated flake food 5 to 7 times a day.
Lower power heads or shut of water flow when they spawn.
Do not remove the eggs the parents are they best thing for them.
Using an airstone over the clutch of eggs can cause deformed fry....happened to me more then once. If your going to remove the eggs remove them the day they are ready to hatch and place an airstone close to the eggs but make sure the bubbles do not touch them.
Good luck and keep the pictures rolling....
