So it begins, part two (120G)

Ah, I see! Hopefully I will not have that problem but if I do I will be able to remove the sump and fix it.

My build is moving forward but very slowly. Hopefully in the near future I will have some much better progress pictures ready to be posted.

I picked-up the second display earlier today. I'm very much looking forward to getting this started. Hopefully, my stand will be completed in the next 2 weeks and some real progress photo's will be posted.

Hand sketch of my layout plan minus some valves and such. Much of the equipment is purchased, but if you see any glaring problems with this layout please let me know.

Finally a real update. The stand will get polyurethane, maybe a very light stain but I haven't decided on that just yet.

Thanks guys. After setting it up I came to the same conclusion as Alpers0na did with the skimmer. While it is accessable it is in there pretty good. I don't want to accidentaly spill a cup full of NOG in the sump or on me! I hate to do it but I might drill the collection cup and put a remote cup closer to the front of the door.

Carb I will agree with Alpers.... My octo. recirc. is located in the exact same location as yours and YES IT IS A PITA!!!! there is NO good way to access all the working parts of this thing. But I guess that is what happens when you want your install clean and all equip. under the stand. One thing I will tell you......make sure that the air intake tube stays vertical and doesn't fall down like mine did....
