So Question About Various Carpet Anemones?

I've been playing with the idea of getting a type of carpet anemone. I either want it in a nice blue or pinkish/red and want it to be carpet. I don't really care for the bubble tips and stuff as they just don't appeal to me much. I'm wondering if it is possible to put one into a 75Gallon Mixed reef with softies and LPS mainly. I would empty out a side and give it a foot of the tank? I know they don't like direct flow, but want decent movement and I think the right side of my tank would be good for it. Just curious if people have done this successfully and what not? Also what type would be good for my size tank?

Specs:
75G Reef Ready Tank
29G Baffeled Sump w/cheato & mangroves, ASM G1X Skimmer
K3 & 2 K-N's along with RIO 2500 return pump
2x250W Hamilton Reefstar Pendants 14k Hamilton DE bulbs at the moment(Changing to Phoenix 14k's in a month)

Thanks

Blue could get you either a Gig or Haddoni. I have never seen a red Gig, so would think only an S. Haddoni (( pink is bleached )).

Haddonis are sand dwelling anemones, and would do fine with your lights. However, the way your tank is set up, there is 0 room for it.

What are your water parameters? (( numbers please ))

In my 75 I have 2 Vortex 10's -- set up in anti-sync -- and that is about the limit for flow.

And to show how much room an S. Haddoni can take up in a 75...and it is bigger now.

My params are

Ammonia 0
Nitrate 0
Nitrites 0
PH 8.4
Salinity 1.026 (refractometer)
Alk have not checked in a few weeks since PH has been good, but I will test it tommorow.

Cal and mag I usually don't test as I do weekly water changes of 10% to 15% and do not dose

I use red sea coral pro salt.

I plan on emptying the right side of the tank and changing that sides rock work to give it good space. I know they take a good amount of space and that's why I want to ask before ever jumping into it without asking or taking the time to give it the best, chance of working if everyone thinks I could...........

So gig is or would be my best bet or is it not matter much? Thanks for sharing the pics as they look good on those tanks. I also have a pair of true percula clowns that i wouldn't mind giving a chance to let the carpet host...

Numbers look good. Stable temps are open to debate, and I personally like to have a temp swing -- around 4* per day.

Gigs are a lot harder to keep and find, also they tend to prefer the rocks and like higher flow -- so that might be an issue for your tank.

Haddonis are going to be on/in the sandbed, usually right at the rock/sand interface.

IMHO, gigantea is much more difficult to keep than haddoni. Haddoni doesn't ship well either, but once established, they become pretty resilient. Your best bet for success is to find a haddoni thats been in captivity for a while.

Alright, so than the best bet is a Haddoni. I don't want to go more difficult to keep if it is, just didn't know since I havn't had any yet. I will have to check out and research more into it. I also have to start selling stuff to make room for it............... tehehe I certainly want one and its going to take some time to make it happen. But If I can't go into Illinois to get one( I seen a few last time I was out that way, have to call and check) Is it possible to get online with a guarantee or am i out of luck on that one?

Well I could easily increase the temp with a turn of the dial a little on the heater, that won't take much. I had brought it down a little from I used to keep it at. I used to be 80-82 everyday and it sounds like it might be better off at those temps
