Ok.. just want to check on something cause well some corals are getting bigger and bigger..

My Devils Hand is starting to graze up against my white polyp toadstool. Problem? Should I move and how much space should I create between them?

Yellow Figi starting to rub on the frogspawn. Problem? Ive moved a little ways away.. maybe about 3" of space..

Flower pot has began to sag alot and I dont see it being perky anymore. Suggestions? Ive been reading requirements and well, I seem to have everything it needs.. but I have a 8x54W Tek, is that too much light if its not on the sandbed.. its about 10" from surface, If i moved it I would put the devils hand in its place..

Got a new orange polyp Gorg today. Placement?

Tank shot if needed.

Gorg in sand bed

Photsynthetic gorgs I've seen if the wild are normally attached to bare rock. I've keep Muricea and a sea plume gorg attached to rocks set in the sand and the top of the rock was just about flush with the sandbed. I don't recognize the genus you have, but many gorgs grow tall so they need a solid anchor to keep from being blown over. Branching gorgs are good to start low in the foreground, in front of the rock, because they need space to grow up and out.

Actually, go and check, you just have the common devils hand, but you can get devils hand in red, green, pink, yellow, brown. Just the color you have is more common, here is a better shot of it. It is without question devils hand. If you can pull together somthing to show me it isnt, im more than happy to be educated.

Ahhh, my bad, I suppose I just got caught reading between the lines a little there. But it is pretty big. Its about the size of my hand opened up.. it just looks small next to my toadstool. Its lovely cause its double in size in under 4 months.

no problem.....they grow pretty big too and fast....mine was the size of yours when i first got it too.....now it takes over 1/3 my tank...lol....
