Heh, well I like it here until the cold is COLD for two weeks straight, then I'm looking for a new place to live.
You're right though, there are a lot of benefits to living in Alaska. I probably wouldnt even be considering moving if it wasnt for my wife. She has some thyroid problems which basically make her feel chilled all the time, even when the house is 72 degrees. Wintertime just about kills her... so we are thinking about moving somewhere she can feel better.
And yeah, that whole area was covered in frost, looked awesome. Most of Anchorage was like that too, I got some neat pictures just around my place and some over by Jewel Lake.
