Some of my "eye candy"

Hey everyone! I am somewhat new to the Buffalo area (moved from MI almost a year ago now). I have been somewhat lurking around here and wanted to officially introduce myself as well as show a little of what I currently have going on.

First of all, my name is Scott. I lived in MI pretty much all 26 years of my life, but moved out here because my girlfriend got into Med School at UB. I have been in and out of the hobby over the past 5 years. Main reason I always got out was because I was never living in the same place for over a year (was going apt to apt, parents house, etc). Now that I am a little more stable here in Buffalo I hope to keep this hobby going for longer than my usual.

I currently am running a 34g Solana w/ a 4 bulb Tek T5 fixture. It has been up almost 3 months now, and so far things are going smoothly. Some may say I have no life because I stop around all the LFS in the area at least once a week (ARC I stop by at least twice a week).

If you want to browse around at the "My Reef" portion of my website for more photos, go here: My Reef

Some pictures are coming up next...

There are a few other pics of other pieces I have that aren't included here... Many more Z's & P's as well as a few more chalices, etc.

Those rastas and ppe are awesome. Nice pics too. I see some other now frags in there too! Welcome to the area and URS.

Thanks everyone for the great comments! I am afraid to show a full tank shot as it looks nothing like display tank (yet). Just a bunch of tiny frags scattered everywhere. But I will pull in a picture from my iPhone I took a few days ago...

As for the camera, just a point and shoot right now, until I finally pull out my Nikon D90 and start using that. I have been having good luck with the point and shoot (Nikon Coolpiz S50 - it's a few years old). All pictures were shot under a Current Powerbrite, and I manually adjusted the white balance on the camera so colors came out as normal as possible. Editing is done in Apple's Aperture: Just usually increase the black point, add a little definition, reduce highlights, etc. I barely touch saturation and vibrancy. Typically I would bump up saturation .03 and vibrancy .01.

Again... Nothing special (sorry for the crappy photo, was just with my iPhone):

Few things you will see... Tek T5 light, MP10, and screen top I made.

Thanks! I cleaned up the sand bed a little bit (added another frag rack). I will get an updated shot up soon, probably after my vacation coming up. I wanted to share a new piece I just picked up tonight (along with many other things I got - thanks Todd!):

Last pic for the night, as it's getting late... I have had this one for a while now but never got a good picture of it until I moved it close to the front tonight. I will need to get a daylight picture of it to show the pastel purple color of it, since the PowerBrite washes out the purple and makes it look blue.
