Some Photos to Share

Yesterday I got a new camera and I thought I would share a few pictures. What do you think? My grand scheme is to get a good picture and have it blown up and frame it. Do any of these qualify or do I need to shoot some more?

They look nice. The 3rd one seems the most ideal for enlarging because it appears to be very crisp - picture 2 is slightly fuzzy to me.

I agree.
I had to spend a lot of time figuring out my digital before I could get a crisp photo, and it's still a pain sometimes.
A couple tips.
Put the lens right on the glass and use a couple fingers to hold it
in place. Also if you have a little running guy setting, or action,
you will get a fast shutter and prevent blurring.
Of the three you posted #3 would be my pick.

I should explain something about the pictures:

The first pictures were taken with a Sony A200. All pictures were taken with Auto settings.

I decided that I would return the A200 and get a Sony A300 and A Sony Carl Zeiss 16-80mm Lens. The Difference between the A200 and A300 is that the A300 has Live View.

The second set of pictures were taken with the A300 and Carl Zeiss lens all on Auto settings. The new lens made all of the difference. All pictures were taken with a tripod.

BTW: Sony bought Konica/Minolta, so the Sony cameras are basically Minolta Cameras.

A few more. Also check out the threads showing off my Brains :)

This is a sailfin blenny that I got yesterday.
