Lovely palys. I like the Candy Apples and Daytrippers particularly. Your tank setup in interesting. Cool custom shape, shallow, rimless, 250w MH, Vortech. Nice.

The white balance looks a little off in your pics.

Haha... yeah I didn't realize how many different varieties of polyps I had collected lately until I looked back through some of the pictures. There are 2 or 3 other varieties that I don't have photos of in the tank as well. I was talking to the guy who built my tank and would really like to do a long 8'+ extremely shallow zoanthid/palythoa tank eventually

Easy guys... Tom is a friend of mine from the local reef club who I have done some trading with in the past. He could have just as easily picked up the phone and called me. I see no difference in his comment, and ones where people start lining up for pairs clownfish after someone mentions their clowns laid eggs (and isn't even planning on trying to raise the fry, let alone offering anything for sale).

Yes, it seems the zoas and palys creep up on people as far as how many wind up being in one's tank.

Your idea for a new tank sounds like awesomeness. Yes indeed, i'll be waiting for that thread. If it's anything like the popular/info packed build thread you have now on the reef discussion section, then your new one should be required reading.

By the way, if you happen to attain some sparkly "tiny universe" palys (*cough* like the "Darth Maul" palys you have posted here above), please feel free to post them in the "sparkly paly" thread i have here http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1591067 . Additionally, if you have any friends who have those, please have them post their pics of them in thread as well. :D

Thanks again for posting your above photos here Tswifty.

Thanks... No, they don't have the blue centers. I've seen them called Sunfire Zoanthids as well as Dragon Eye Zoanthids.

ct_vol is correct, folks. Here's a quote from the forum rules in a sticky above:

"From this point on, all posts requesting sales or trade information (or asking to be put on a frag list) will be removed without notification. Posts mentioning that they have frags available or will soon have frags available will also be removed. Basically, don't ask, don't tell.

Repeat offenders will be warned. If the warning doesn't work, the poster will lose their posting privileges."

http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1407890

The rules were created for a reason. Let's stick to them, please.

Close the thread please. It's a shame people can't just enjoy the pictures... both members, and RC staff.
