Something WEIRD about this Turbo snail

I recently picked up 3 Turbos to assist with tank (algae) cleanup in my 14g Biocube. The day after i put them in I notice one of them has what appear to be 6-8 white tentacles sticking out around the base of the shell while it's moving along. They almost look like a small nem, but they stick out evenly all the way around. Now I know that Turbo's only have two feelers or eye stalks (mine are black) so I'm wondering what these things are. I've attached some fotos. Sorry for the poor quality, but turbo1 shows these things the best. I've also noted 2 somethings, segmented, attached to the top of the shell (on the turbo2, left, just above the shell edge) that frequently have what looks like another tentacle sticking out of it. Parasite???

All snails have tentacles. As these are my first ever Trochus, I didn't know they had multiple sets around the shell edge. Learn something every day, but it kinda freaked me out when I saw it. Now I know. Just call me Grasshopper.
