Something wrong with my anemone?

Over the past hour I have been watching my anemone do something that I have never seen before. It is a condylactus in case that is relevant. First, some of the tentacles starting turning dark purple. Then it started spitting out this brown stringy snott-like stuff and then completely closed up from about 4-5 inches in size down to the size of a nickel.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on here?

Most likely it's pooping or dispelling excess Zooxanthellae, in either case it should be fine by tomorrow. If it's still shriveled up in a couple days then start to worry.
