Sorry, it left out my reply. I used glass cages for my sump, stand, and tank and had no issues at all with customer service or build quality.

Sonny- are you running lower ALK levels in your tank while carbon dosing?

The last time I checked, My ALK was at 9.4 DKH and my CA at 440. I run higher salinity(1.028) so it may be throwing my test off slightly.

Thankfully, I have never had "alk burn" on my SPS.

Well, the fixture is designed to sit directly ON the tank and the clips that come with it are there just to hold it in position. If you are looking into either the ATI or Constellation your best bet is to suspend it over the tank with the cables provided. This will give you the cleanest look and best accessibility to the tank.

Thats where I was getting to..Thanks.

I wouldn't run your alk over 9 DKH when administering a carbon system. I was over a friends house this weekend and he was dosing vodka for a couple weeks and ended up with some nasty alk burn on some of his corals.

Sunny, I have a local builder stating that a 1/2 glass is good for rimless like yours. You mind telling me the thickness of your glass?
