Yep haha, as would I. Definitely a worth while quality purchase which not only has a great design with 2 switches (one optical) so is safer than other ones on the market, but in general an ATO would also be useful for if you're away from the tank for a while. :)

You can buy them second hand for £50 over here, not much at all and a great addition.

Jeff.

Get a Tunze Osmolator. It is the absolute best piece of equipment I've ever bought in reefkeeping. You'll never have to worry about your water level again and you'll never have to worry about it making any mistakes either. They are virtually flawless and really make a reefkeeper's life so much simpler!
All you need to do is fill up your reservoir tank maybe once or twice a month and you're done. It all depends on how big your reserve tank is, but mine only requires refilling every 2 weeks.

I second the tunze osmolator. The only thing you need to watch out for is to clean the optical sensor once every 2-3 months. Sometimes Calcium will build up on it causing the sensor to stop working and the water level to drop. I make it a routine to clean it every 2 months by a 15-20 minute vinegar dip.

So.....today I decided to get a guide on how to properly use my Nikon D50 SLR camera. Apparently all my pics before today were crap because they NOW look better after only a few tweaks.

Needless to say, I took quite a few pics and will be uploading the goodness shortly. :D ;)

Sonny,

Your tank is bloody stunning!

Are you still charging $8.54/month for updated shots of your tank? If so, I want to sign up :)

Yeah, I have quite a few fish in there. I have been trying to catch the sohal because he is getting a bit too big for the setup but I am having no success. I really like the Sohal so I may be upgrading in the summer/Fall of '10 in order to keep him.

Pacific Blue Tang( I have had him for 8 years)
Sohal Tang
2x Yellow Tangs
3x Bartlet's Anthais
2x Lyretail Anthais(Male, Female)
Blue Devil Damsel(About 10 years old now)
Royal Garamma
2x O. Clownfish

Water so clear look like no water in the tank. So where the water.

Dont the fish look like floating candy? :D

Ed Reef: Likewise. I have been following your new build thread and am absolutely in LOVE with the tank and the open space layout. I want to do something similar in my next tank.

CeeGee: Breath in, Breath out. :D

Rick55555: Thanks!

Mchava: Yeah, the King Midas is an amazing Zoo. It looks great under blue lighting. Sorry about your lost colony. When mine grows out maybe we can work out a trade. :D
