I do... it's the Turbo Twist 36 watt model, but I will soon upgrade. After my trip to Japan, they run industrial strength UVs there that aren't even from the aquarium trade.

Of course! He's three and a half and already has been on the ice for a year... us Coppolino are on the small side, especially when it comes to hockey, and so we need skating skills. I started on the ice at 2 and started Tier 1 hockey in upstate NY from age 6 and went on to Junior hockey. I still play each week. I'm already having a blast with him... check him out on his little Bauer Vapors... the smallest size they had and they were big on him...

What is the reason for this? I have one that is doing quite well in a 65g quarantine tank and I really wanted to do 4 of them in a 120x48x30 tank. This could put an end to those plans. I thought they were schooling fish in the wild

Hmm... they won today, and have won three in a row... and they are well ahead of Buffalo...

While I've done plenty in this hobby, including things people generally say cannot be done, and generally say "Never say never", this is one instance where I am close to saying never... I'd scratch those plans if I were you... as juveniles they may get along as mine did, but power battles will ensue... and these power battles will last until one is done... they roll like a football in a spiral when they fight!

My Sabres are late bloomers. They wait until the last minute to actually soil the bed and fail miserably.

And stop trying to dazzle me with the stats. I just hate Avery more than aiptasia.

My butterfly has gorwn ridiculously. Eats out my hand now (if you call near porpoising out of the water to get the food, "eating out of my hand" ). Has lost the black almost completely and looks just like a tinkers now. Not that I care, though. I know what she is/was.

No... a good friend in the business I respect very much once tried about two dozen in a multiple thousand gallon tank... same result...

I have a collection of rare tangs... some one of a kind... that I will share later this week... and again using the methods above you have the MOST control over the life of the fish... the "tang police" jump on so many people for keeping tangs in small tanks, when there are thousands of tangs that die as a result of this for every one that will outgrow a system...

I couldn't help but give this thread a bump, and a bump probably with the most insightful paragraph, after I found time to surf around a bit (when my daughter finally wore herself out with Dora videos and cheerios, that is).

I think you, Copps, could write a book on nothing but the QTing process. In the past I haven't been too diligent in QTing new arrivals, and really only started about four years ago. But as my QTing ability, and my ablility (space requirements really) to produce enough water to control ammonia has risen, I've found a lot of what plauged new arrivals simply went away. I will never go without this process before introduction. It's a tremendous "headache buster" knowing that the fish you introduce is almost (sometimes more) healthy as he was the day he was caught.........good stuff, dude. Keep it up.
