Spawning Clam

I just saw the most amazing thing in my tank tonight, my clam is spawning. I know this can happen occasionaly but it's pretty cool to witness it. I even got pictures of it. If I can figure out how to post pics I will.
Has anyone else seen this in there tanks?

Yes, it's pretty cool. My derasa spawned a couple of months ago. Usually spawning is induced by a stressful event on the clam. Be sure to keep an eye on your skimmer! Mine almost overflowed!

Thanks for the tip. Everything appears to be doing great, and hopefuly no stressful events are going on. You never can tell when nasty things decide to pop up. Either way it's made for great entertainment for the past hour.

I would do a big water change. All that "stuff" will start breaking down and could cause some major issues. Better to error on the side of caution.
