SPS and Water Parameters

Just feeding more made the difference? My colors are faded and I feed my tank 4 times a day. Twice with pellets and twice with reef frenzy. I don't add any coral food.

The only thing I do is feed coral vibrance 2 or 3 times a week, but initially I was feeding it everyday. Then once it was stable, I slowed down a bit in order to keep my phosphates maintained and not increase them.

I always wanted to have a refugium, but I don't have the space for it. I started reading about algae scruber and find out about He HOG1 / HOG1x.
Any thoughts / suggestions / experiences?

Hard to take a nice pic, but at least you have an idea

Great work, way to stick it out. Tanks looking awesome!

Thank you!
I know lots of people have questions why their corals are brown, even with great water parameters, including myself. For many years I dealt with these brown sps because I didn't want PO4 and Nitrates in my tank. I Always tried to keep them at .0 because I didn't know the corals loved it. As soon I began feeding the tank and the phosphate and nitrates increased everything started making sense. They responded fast, btw including the algae. After a few months of algae, the tank was colorful. All my SPS's are doing great including color and growth.

I hope this thread will help lots of us that still have this problem. And showing the proof of a good difference will make them change their minds as well it change mine. The only tip is, pls whatever change you do, do it slowly.

If someone wants more pics, I bought lots of more SPS and can show really nice pieces with really nice COLORS!

Thanks again RC community, for your support and complement in this process!

How do you guys control algae?

The algae will go away by itself when the parameters start getting stable. Of course, I bought more CUC and a sea hare to help with the problem. In my case, it took around 2 months, so it felt like a year to have an algae free tank! I checked my PO4 yesterday and is at .23 right now with nitrates at <15ppm, and I don't have any algae in my tank. I do have to clean my glass everyday, but that's better than having it in my rocks or sand.

Ok let's start with some pics!
The one on the left I don't know the name (if someone knows pls let me know) and the chalice is the bubblegum...
