I checked my water on

Salt: 1.024
Temp: 77.7
Alk: Hanna 7.7ppm
Ca: 350ppm
Mag: 1380ppm
Potassium: 440ppm
Nitrate: 10ppm
PO4: 0.23ppm
Ph: 7.97

No, I stop running GFO. It absorbs the PO4 so fast an can harm the corals. (I loss my Maxima Clam that way!). I learned the hard way!

Yes, I used to use it when I had low nutrients. Corals love it and you can see how the polyps extend to grab the food! The only downside is the price. That's why I stopped using it. Btw, I sent you a PM.

RR Aussie Gold Tort. When I bought it was completely purple. I put it with lower light and now is getting the gold color! I started to love it!

I have interest about your Mg value from the first day (more than 1600) since now at 1380. Why?

Hi Carlosmos,
Yes, my CA levels dropped a lot bc I keep buying more SPS's frags (I'm not addicted, well I think so), and the ones that I have are growing. So, I made changes, I increased the CA dosing so I will keep it higher. Hopefully I'll check it tonight to see if it has improved.

About my MG, I was dosing like 1ml per day to increase it a little bit. I completely forgot that I was dosing it and that's how it went over 1600ppm. I stop the dosing a long time ago, and that's how it decreased to the 1380ppm. It took over 5 months for it to drop to the levels that is right now. I dose it a little bit bc I want it steady at that level.

After a difficult move (I bought a new house) and having my tank 2 month neglected, some of the corals still glowing!
