i got home real late last night after work but i always check my tank
to make sure all is well..

well for some reason after over a year on of sps a stag type ,the base rock
came loose, actualy the epoxy came undone..
i'm guessing it's because of the weight..

it fell on top of a huge red chalice so i took it off of it and placed it somewhere safe..hopefuly i will get home early to epoxy it back in place..

my concern is,when i went home for a quick lunch i noticed in some places
my sps is shooting mucus and i think their might be a few dead spots of tissue
damage.. nothing to bad ..but still a bummer

question i have !!!! will the tissue grow back on the damage spots or shoul i be
thinking about fraging it in case the damge spreads.????

I have had corals fall into other corals a few times. The damaged spots have always healed over for me. It shoud be ok.

yes it will go back, but it could also spread it really depends on the general health of the coral and your tank. If you are super worried just dab some super glue over the dead spots.

thanks all !!

i've reglued the coral in place and will keep an eye on it..
if it spreads i will try the super glue trick..
