Hey Sahin,
Glad you are feeling better lately. Hope that trend continues. But like everyone else on here I must say that we need more pics.
Looking forward to seeing some tomorrow.
Yeah me too, feeling a lot better hence I took some pics this morning as I promised.
So you are competing in the cyber coral war then Sahin
Yes. Biggles and his flashy sidekicks
Shortcake Roo and
Kevin Koala are going to get a run for their money...
Sneaky Bello, this ForestFire Digitata is for you; the green blob at the far right is a green new branch tip of the FF (Its now really getting the deep strong green). I snapped off a colony the size of my hand and gave to my LFS as this coral grows too fast. This piece is located right on my overflow box around 4/5 inches below waterline so VERY hard to photograph:
Some Green for Biggles, as I know deep down he loves Green Acros:
I love this piece, (with the tank lights off this piece looks solid purple) Some of the colour has been blown out...should have exposed a tiny bit less:
Another one for Sneaky Bello, my PINK Mili. Wasnt going to take a photo of this, but when I looked at it top down this morning, I realised most of the branches have turned bright pink again, the long polp is white, but the shorter polyps are still brown. Took two shots at slightly different angles:
And Another shot for Acro War Cheat, Biggles

p) :
This next piece is a large colony now, grown from 1.5inch frag: This is getting around 500 PAR...due to the recent browning, I've cut back feeding slightly, and this piece has lightened up a tiny bit, but still looks pretty good. Its smashed by the MP10's from both sides and loves the flow...has awesome Polyp Extension:
Next up is my Red Planet. This has browned a little...was looking much happier. You cant see the whole colony, but this was grown from another 1.5inch frag and is now a large colony. Its getting hit by around 300 PAR and so the green is only present in the deeper parts of the branches.
Now to finish off this photo session with my beloved
Orange Koala Passion Acro closeup. Love the colours on this piece. Regardless of whats happening with the tank, ALWAYS has great colour. I picked this up as a 1inch frag from a private collector in the UK...this guy imports SPS himself (with CITES permits etc) and sells out of one of his spare room converted into small coral farm:
The browned out stuff is recovering...as is the case with SPS; I just need to keep things stable and be patient.
After all the hard times I've had so far this year, seeing my corals looking better and better each month, I'm glad I have the tank.
The plan for the next 3 months is no more feeding experiments, no more testing potions, no more Alk drops. :crazy1:
