yeah i have to play around with the settings on the camera.i know the camera can do better but so far this is the best ive gotten out of it.any suggestions on settings?

I have yet to get my camera. Hopefully the mail comes tomorrow. But are you using a tripod? Also post the settings you used so the people that know about cameras can help you with that.

yes i have it on a tripod.
camera is a canon EOS D10
lens is a quantaray 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 LDO macro(not sure if the numbers help)
i have it turned to the icon that looks like a rose
this is about all i can tell you,as i dont know much about cameras in general.

If the camera has an auto-timer try using that. Even with a tripod sometimes the movement when you take the picture can cause the blur in macro shots.
