SPS tank from England 156 us gallons

Oh i cant pm you . I dont have a tank thread i must do one. I will ask one of the local reefers to take some pictures as i have a very poor camera. I have some nice acros and montys but not a setosa :(. When i have some photos i will contact you if thats o.k.. Thanks for that.

Quick update.

I've had to move the orange plating monti that was in the centre of the tank, it had grown too big and was growing much faster than everything else. It was overgrowing and smothering other corals.

I had to move the white monti digitata away from the pink tip acro abro, as the abro was eating the white monti and, the abro had started to grow around and encapsulate the dead/eaten parts of it's victum.

I've removed a brown boddied blue tip stag from the right hand corner and placed a now fragged and smaller version of the orange plating monti in it's place.

The tank may suffer a little of coming weeks as I've busted my shoulder/arm whilst bench pressing in the gym, I can't use my left arm, I have an MRI scan on Thursday and I may need an operation to fix it! Doh! I've had to type this with one hand. :banghead:

I have not had time to do a shoot as yet but here's a quick video taken with my Dell Streak - can any one spot the two new LPS corals?

Any questions or queries, feel free to ask.

Tony

Are the scollys new. Looks fantastic anyway one of the best and unusual scape. Bad luck on the shoulder injury from the bench , i have had various shoulder injuries from lifting weights and am starting to think my back and neck pro blems could be caused by incorrect lifting ( i had L4 and L5 on my back done so far).

Thanks Bello

Thanks for your compliments. :spin1:

There's no scollys in the tank (sorry for poor video quality). There's an orange stripe cynarina near the hysterix in the centre and a new red trachy on the right near the duncans.

Hello fellow reefers,

Update time again! :)

Changes and news:
I have put a ribbon eel in my tank, he is a stunner and eats loads! :D I've found it hard to capture a picture of him.

Some of you may note that I've added a red trachy and a grey/turqoise cynarina with neon orange streaks.

I had to move the orange plating monti and the white monti digitata to allow for better growth for all corals. I've also moved a couple of other bits about, again for better growth prospects. I've added a tiny green hsterix frag in the same position as where the white digitata used to be.

The tank remains very stable and low maintanence, not much has changed other than a bit of growth.

It will be interesting to see what effects the increased bioload of the ribbon eel has on coral- colours as I am feeding him one or two prawns a day (I feed him until he refuses to eat any more).

Loads of pictures taken hope you don't mind looking through so many.

Any comments or questions will of course be welcomed.

Very nice colors Tony!

What is your thoughts about Narva T5 bulbs? I'm planning to try them too.

Thanks for your compliments.

I am very pleased with the Narva blue T5 tubes, they have a PAR output not far off other blue tubes which cost twice as much, like ATI & KZ. I will be buying more narva blues again soon.

Regards,

Tony
