SPS that pop under actinics/LEDs ?

Almost everytime I grab a cool looking SPS from my LFS and get it home, I'm bummed out by how lame it looks under my LED actinics. The only two I have that look awesome are a purple Bonsai and a Green Slimer acro.

Any types you guys have that really show themselves off under actinics? Or could you post pics so I know what to look for at the LFS? (Still quite new to the hobby)

Not many of my SPS do much under that type of lighting. Seems mostly my LPS fluoresce under that wavelength. I do have one prostrata that is a light blue/turquoise color that the polyps glow pretty nice under my PowerBrites. And of course any of the green acros...

I'm with you on the bonsai and green slimer, I don't have much else in terms of SPS that actually glow under the LED royal blues.

I have a peach/pink with yellow and green mille that looks pretty cool but it doesn't really glow, and good luck taking any pictures under RB's only, oy what a pain that is to photograph.

the pink pops out a bit under RB, here's a pic in daylight.

You would need to add red LEDs to get the pinks and reds to pop. Blue/actinic lights will only make blues/purples flouresce. Even when I used URI actinics my reds/oranges/yellows did not show well, but when the main lights were on they looked great.

it would take an awefull lot of red leds to light anything. from what ive seen that more than 90% of red light is reflected by water

My green bottlebrush and tenuis have pop. My Red monti Cap has some real good pop under led blue lights, and some nice light enhancement under the actinics.

While this is mostly true, it is not 100% of the time. Many corals with specific red pigments fluoresce very nicely under the wavelength that is produced by royal blue LEDs.

My green monti cap looks radioactive as well as my red monti cap. Hollywood stunner chalice can be seen across the room as well as my green confusa. sweet stuff. I love led's
