So im starting up my newish system(2 displays and a sump). My 30 was being over run with hair algae which i started to keep up with. At the same time my tanks were on the back porch (indoors) which has hardwood flooring....needless to say my mother isnt to happy with me right now. Anyway. I purchased a 55 from a guy near rochester here is his link he has a really nice 120 if anyone is interested

It was nice to be able to set up the rock better. Also nice to be able to clean out with LaCl .2ppm with BRS rock before any treatment :eek2:! With the 30 i kinda tossed rubble and base rock but not much aquascaping so i set up the left side slightly higher than the right and added an island in the middle.
I had a mag7 return pump sitting around so i desided to hard pipe that with the tips being lockline. I offset the stand for the 20 gal so that you will be able to see the backs of each. Somtimes those timid fish and inverts are hard to see with the backs not visible. So here is some pics of the startup
Not much color going on yet. A tank full of coral in a 30 looks almost empty in a 55! Tank was fully cycled and then i moved the coral and rock from the 30down stairs. The transition was flawless. No death or spikes in parameters. The only thing i saw negitive was the clam didnt like to be moved but shes opening up now. The 20 gallon i will be moving down in the next few days to plumb into the system. Enjoy!
