Starting a log

Yes, I thought of that. But I got lucky last night. Spoke to the cplumber who is currently working on the water lines. He said he'd plumb the tank all the way to the garage underground with insulated pvc!!!! All I will have to do is make 4 holes in the concrete walls; two from the tank location and two in the garage's side wall. One is there already so the job is almost done. I just need to check if my baracuda pump and/will push 5x's the volume of my 130 an hour as a return from the sump/fuge located about 50 feet away. I am hoping that gravitiy will make the water go from the tank to the sump as it will be higher thatn the sump/fuge at the destination. I am going with Sidewinder770's design when he did hs 375 gal (and then eventally sold). I will call you at kunch time once I get a break.

After talking with you about you build, I am excited!!!! Can wait to get in deep with pipe and start this system up right!

Sure MAN!!! Can't wait either. I just started the temp stand yesterday. Bolted it intot the cinder block wall in the garage usinbg 2x4s and then supporting the bottom with two 4x4 with a metal based anchored into the ground. I will take pics tonight and post them ASAP. I will also dig up that oterh unit and get it ready for ya!!!

Mike, "The tank is 96 x 30 x 30, black back, with 2 corner overflows. It looks a bit like swiss cheese at this point because of the 18 holes we had drilled for various closed loops and sump return." Here is a pic of it.

I got a few ideas for your set up. We need to get together sometime soon to discuss. I also want ot take a look at where it will be placed so I can start figuring out the best way to build the wall.

that's a 2x6 front board connected to the 2x4 in order to provide additonal support. I don't need anything falling apart.

Here is the long shot with the rungs running across it.

No prob...If I come across deal like this again, I'll make sure to post it here right away. I just don't want to end up with 30 tanks in the house...wife said 15 is the limit :)
